Thoughts and prayers to the Phillips side of the family. Found out this evening that Dad's sister, Aunt Alice, passed away yesterday. Dad drove to Mississippi today to make it to the service, which is to be held tomorrow. Unfortunately due to Mom's eye issues, she wasn't able to go with him.

I love a certain nameless convention with all my heart, but dear god message fatigue is starting to set in. Some fans might care deeply that the third best boy in the second series reboot might suddenly have other arrangements, or the doctor from Star Gate Galaxy 15 is now signing autographs... but at this point I DON'T CARE I'M GOING!!!!

For the second time today I've had to come out and declare that I have not listened to Serial. I tried. Really tried. Didn't care for it, and I realize I'm in a very small party of one here. My exposure with podcasts rests safely with the casual festive roundtable discussion format - see Radio Free Skaro, Pop Culture Happy Hour, Verity! and Mouse Chat.
