Craigslist Find - Mid Century Desk

I've been searching for a decent desk for the upstairs office for awhile now.  Of course I wanted a large teak mid century modern desk but didn't want to pay thousands of dollars for it.  For weeks I searched Craigslist neurotically trying to find something which would not only look good, but would be functional.  Ended up finding this here on the Hill from a couple that had just moved into an apartment by Eastern Market.  They couldn't fit all their furniture into the space and something had to go.  Ended up paying $30.00 for it, but had to carry it down two flights of stairs with Reg.  Ended up killing our backs, but I love it.

Burke dinning chairs

Two Burke dinning room chairs found on Craigslist for $89.00 on 2/1/2009. Couldn’t figure out why the seller set the price at such an odd number. Chairs go perfect with our Burke table from Home Anthology. Love the orange fabric on the cushions.
