A couple of weeks ago I bought the Nintendo Switch. Not sure what I was expecting, but for the most part I have been completely underwhelmed with it. I bought the Zelda game with it and also downloaded a couple of other games (Stardew Valley and Human Fall Flat) and again...meh. In a last ditch effort I bought the Super Mario Odyssey game yesterday. OH MY GOD I LOVE IT AND IT IS SO MUCH FUN. Was up way too late last night playing it.

I love Hartnell's Doctor. While he had some "issues", I don't feel that he needed the continual smug lecturing he received throughout the Christmas episode. It also didn't help that every other line he had to say was so misogynistic that I had no joy watching David Bradley performance. This was not the first Doctor that I love so much.

OK Christmas is OVER folks, time to clean up. Don’t need to see your holiday decorations anymore and spare me the BS that you keep it up for the epiphany. If it’s up past this week, it’s just sad and lazy.

Loved The Last Jedi. It’s not a perfect movie, but it hit all the right nostalgia buttons for me. I even shed a few tears with the swelling music. Thanks Melissa, Mike, Richard, Vernon and Reginald for geeking out with me this morning.

Yesterday was Reg's two year anniversary with Disney. Next month it will be two years since I sold the house in DC and moved to Florida. It just seems like time is flying by so quickly these days.

I feel that all is right and good with the world now that Netflix's The Crown is back on. Also one episode left of Dark. I don't understand why it is being compared to Stranger Things. It's more occult timey wimey sci-fi brooding Broadchurch, but set in german Twin Peaks. LOVE IT.

So for anyone who complains about the cost of Disney, that was a $32 ferris wheel ride which included walking on the pier.
