Dell Dr. Who and the Daleks Comic

Only purchase at the Annapolis Comic Con.  Had a fun time running around Annapolis with a friend who went to college at St. John's.  Took me on a wonderful tour of the campus.  As to the comic, paid way too much for it, but I've been searching for a decent copy of this for years.

Craigslist Find - Mid Century Desk

I've been searching for a decent desk for the upstairs office for awhile now.  Of course I wanted a large teak mid century modern desk but didn't want to pay thousands of dollars for it.  For weeks I searched Craigslist neurotically trying to find something which would not only look good, but would be functional.  Ended up finding this here on the Hill from a couple that had just moved into an apartment by Eastern Market.  They couldn't fit all their furniture into the space and something had to go.  Ended up paying $30.00 for it, but had to carry it down two flights of stairs with Reg.  Ended up killing our backs, but I love it.

Brompton Bicycle Club excursion to Philly!

You might be wondering why there aren't any photos of us in Philly.  After getting up at the crack of dawn, meeting Charmaine at Union Station, taking our bikes with us on Megabus (which is really easy to do), traveling three hours for a leisurely bike ride around Philadelphia, Reg had an accident the first hour we were there from getting stuck in trolley tracks.  We ended up taking the Amtrak train back (also easy with Brompton) to DC and ended up taking Reg into the hospital.  It was a crazy long day.  Reg was ok, though I don't think he will be joining on any crazy bike excursions.
