Latest update. Flight to and from Texas officially cancelled by Southwest Airlines. Knew it was coming, but sad to have it happen. Mom and dad are also still without power this morning but doing ok.

Still no power for mom and dad. How is the rest of the island? Trying to figure out if it is just them or their side of the island.

Mom and dad have been without power since 2am this morning and it still isn’t on. They are fine and trying to conserve their cell phone batteries. Again, they are ok.

Questions for my friends and family in Houston and Galveston. I have a flight booked into Hobby this coming Thursday to visit my parents for the Labor holiday. I’m hearing reports the airport is closed till Wednesday and you are expecting rain all this week. Can I make it into the city?
