With all the excitement for the new Star Wars films, I am suddenly nostalgic for the summer blockbuster films of my childhood. I remember seeing Jaws at the age of six, and being scared to go into the bathtub after seeing a Saturday Night Live skit about the dreaded Landshark. I was certain that Jaws would come up the drain pipe (I was six years old people!) and eat me. Along with all the fun pics, we have been very productive. Reg met with his recruiter and got fingerprinted for the mouse. Yesterday we found an apartment in Windermere Fl and signed a lease. Surveyors are coming out to the house on Monday to take inventory of all our stuff that is moving. Reg is leaving on the 12th of December. Our house on Capitol Hill will be cleared out on Jan 19th by the moving company. This shit got crazy real all of a sudden. Anxiety kicking in. ***Need a dole whip***

What are people's thoughts on the Character Option's Doctor Who action figures - the 3.75 vs 5 inch specifically? Are they moving towards the 3.75 and discontinuing the 5? I have a couple of each and I really like the 5 inch figures and they seem to have more classic series figures. All the cool sets seem to the of the 5, which makes no sense why they would do away with them.

Update on Mom. Due to her age (76), the neurosurgeon does not think it wise to operate to get rid of this aneurysm.. Instead, they will watch her blood pressure. Both mom and dad are both happy and relieved with this information. I just want my mother in top shape, no strange things in her brain, and able to see again. Not asking for much here. Friends and family: Due to Mom's vision loss, her glaucouma specialist order an MRI which we got the results back on the 19th. They discovered an aneurysm in her brain which has been pressing against her optic nerves. She was immediately sent to a neurosurgeon that ordered more tests. We will have the results in today, and hopefully the next steps towards treatment. I really appreciate all the love and help I've received from family and work. Family - please don't overwhelm Mom and Dad with phone calls. This is all they know at the moment. Mom didn't want anyone to know until after they had a better understanding of what was going to happen next, but Dad needed some support. It seems odd to be posting this on Facebook, but I've learned to rely and trust my online friends and family. I love and appreciate that we are able to keep in touch. Today might be a rough one and I'm not one for emotional displays, but again...thank you. More crazy cat pics and Doctor Who posts are much needed right now.

Bike MS training update. Ended up going to see a podiatrist yesterday. Pain in my ankle which has been ongoing since winter finally got to the point at disney that I wasn't able to walk. Ordered to not exercise (hahahahahahaha ok!), ice it down, pop pills and wear some sort of ugly compression ankle support). Doc won't clear me for the ride until after next week to see if the swelling has gone down any.

Humblest apologies to all my gally friends for not showing up for Lobbycon Sunday night. I feel bad for at least not saying goodbye, but felt like crap after camping out in conference room A for most of Sunday. After missing lunch, and finally binging late last night, I crashed hard and felt the dreaded con crud ( or the mutant strain of Disney measles kicking in). Heading home, though I hear we are without power at the house and are expecting snow tonight. Thank you again for everyone. Had an incredible time. Closing ceremonies had me in tears, and I would have probably been crying in the lobby had I seen you again. I miss you all terribly already and hope to see you for Gally 2016.
