Friends and family: Due to Mom's vision loss, her glaucouma specialist order an MRI which we got the results back on the 19th. They discovered an aneurysm in her brain which has been pressing against her optic nerves. She was immediately sent to a neurosurgeon that ordered more tests. We will have the results in today, and hopefully the next steps towards treatment. I really appreciate all the love and help I've received from family and work. Family - please don't overwhelm Mom and Dad with phone calls. This is all they know at the moment. Mom didn't want anyone to know until after they had a better understanding of what was going to happen next, but Dad needed some support. It seems odd to be posting this on Facebook, but I've learned to rely and trust my online friends and family. I love and appreciate that we are able to keep in touch. Today might be a rough one and I'm not one for emotional displays, but again...thank you. More crazy cat pics and Doctor Who posts are much needed right now.
