After being together for nine years, Reg and I finally decided to get married today at the DC Court House. Thanks to all our friends and family - expecially my mother, Ken and Christopher who were with us today. We are extremely fortunately to have such loving friends and family around us. Please forgive the plastic flowers... I had no control over it.

Cheap (free) Ipad stand

I've been really depressed over the lack of Ipad accessories out in the marketplace.   After reading about someone using a  business card holder from Office Depot, I remembered this acrylic plate stand which was sitting on top of our kitchen cabinets collecting dust.  It looks great and it seems to keep the Ipad safe and secure.

Yet another purchase from the auction in Aston PA on 02/23/2010. I paid $15 for this lot of six danish candle sticks. I love the shape, and they look great on our Burke dinning room table.

attended my first modern auction in Aston PA, on 02/23/2010 and had a blast. It was a long and tiring day, but I ended up winning a vintage Lightolier sputnik chandelier and six danish candle holders.

It bothers me that we bought a knockoff Eames lounge chair, but this chair was so comfortable and in wonderful shape, it was hard to turn down. I also love the 70's harvest orange color.  Having difficulty finding any information on the web about the maker, SHAF. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
