With all the excitement for the new Star Wars films, I am suddenly nostalgic for the summer blockbuster films of my childhood. I remember seeing Jaws at the age of six, and being scared to go into the bathtub after seeing a Saturday Night Live skit about the dreaded Landshark. I was certain that Jaws would come up the drain pipe (I was six years old people!) and eat me. Happy to report that Reginald is the new team leader of safety and health at Disney's Animal Kingdom. It's also his favorite park. I know he is on cloud 9 right now.

Today was Reginald's last day with the federal government. 33 years of service. He joined the military right after high school. Happy to be celebrating with our best friends.

Jenna Coleman is an incredible actress and has done an outstanding job with her character, but dear god why are we having to go through another farewell scene? I just don't care anymore! They milked it for all it's worth seasons ago!

Along with all the fun pics, we have been very productive. Reg met with his recruiter and got fingerprinted for the mouse. Yesterday we found an apartment in Windermere Fl and signed a lease. Surveyors are coming out to the house on Monday to take inventory of all our stuff that is moving. Reg is leaving on the 12th of December. Our house on Capitol Hill will be cleared out on Jan 19th by the moving company. This shit got crazy real all of a sudden. Anxiety kicking in. ***Need a dole whip***

Fun vacation mutating into neurotic hunt for a temporary place to live. Vacation was planned and booked months before Reg even considered looking at jobs with the mouse. Week after we get back to DC, he has to turn around and head back to Orlando for his first day with the company. I will stay behind until we get the house together and sold.
