Since the accident back at the end of December, it has taken me awhile to feel comfortable on the bike. Have no upper body strength after fracturing my left wrist and right elbow going over the handlebars of my Brompton. I missed riding my bike.

Just received a card in the mail from my employer notifying me of my six year anniversary with the company. Who knew??? Lost all track of time working remote. Thanks to Dara, Nicholas, Patrick, Lore, Donavin, Ann, Kristin, Bey, Brandon, Rob and all the rest of my coworkers and those who have moved on to other things for being so awesome. Seriously, thought I was receiving a termination notice via mail.

So I'm finally watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer and rather enjoying it (yes Erik and Ron, you were right). Just please tell me Zander comes to a brutal horrible death and Willow grows some balls.

So for the past week I've been obsessed with The Great British Baking Show/Bake Off. Was inspired to attempt a pineapple upside-down cake after one of the episodes. Will not be awarded Star Baker anytime soon, but hope to have Paul Hollywood gaze at me in disapproval.

So happy to have my oldest and dearest friend in town visiting for the weekend. Ken I love you and congratulations on your 17 years of sobriety. I am so proud of you.
